Revelation 21

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had ceased to exist, and the sea existed no more. And I saw the holy city—the new Jerusalem—descending out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying:

“Look! The residence of God is among human beings. He will live among them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any more—or mourning, or crying, or pain, for the former things have ceased to exist.”

Change only comes at a price. Your dept is the sacrifice of your old life. Your reward is a new eternity of peace.

Well its the last day of 2012, I just want to put out a little word about this year, or the end of this year, as they say. There has been many discussions on the end of time floating out there. Everyone talking about their beliefs and what they think may happen. I am not sure about yours but here is my thoughts.

The first thought in my mind is to follow the first law of the land that we had, THE BIBLE. Its gives you the beginning of Time and the coming of the end of time. Its tells you that the end will come like a thief in the night. Not sure about you all but I have watched cops on television. Most thiefs sneak in when you are not home and take what they want. They will not knock on the door or announce their presences. I do not think death will as well.

Second known thing is that GOD said that no one will know when it will come. This is in the bible. If it is his will than it will be done. I can not see a preacher coming out and telling everyone that he knows when the end is if GOD says that no one will know. The book of Zephaniah tell of how the end will come.

“I will sweep away everything
from the face of the earth,”
declares the Lord.
“I will sweep away both man and beast;
I will sweep away the birds in the sky
and the fish in the sea—
and the idols that cause the wicked to stumble.”

And then there is Revelation 21 –

Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,”[a] for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[b] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

That is all I need to know about the end of my time on earth. I do not need science, nor the Mayas to tell me anything of what they think is going to happen. If you have not realized it, the bible has given you all the information that you have ever needed to life and or die. Hope you all have a blessed New year and a New Mind to go with that New Year.
