A Message To Humanity!

“When will the Kingdom of God come?” – Luke 17: 20

Jesus replied, “The Kingdom of God can’t be detected by visible signs. You won’t be able to say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘It’s over there!’ For the Kingdom of God is already among you.”

Then he said to his disciples, “The time is coming when you will long to see the day when the Son of Man returns, but you won’t see it. “When the Son of Man returns, it will be like it was in Noah’s day. In those days, the people enjoyed banquets and parties and weddings right up to the time Noah entered his boat and the flood came and destroyed them all.

“And the world will be as it was in the days of Lot. People went about their daily business—eating and drinking, buying and selling, farming and building— until the morning Lot left Sodom. Then fire and burning sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. Yes, it will be ‘business as usual’ right up to the day when the Son of Man is revealed. On that day a person out on the deck of a roof must not go down into the house to pack. A person out in the field must not return home. Remember what happened to Lot’s wife! If you cling to your life, you will lose it, and if you let your life go, you will save it.

God is our Refuge and Strength

While heading to work this morning, I walked upon a man standing in front of the newsstand where I board the train. When I approached where he stood, I noticed he had a bible in one hand and what I thought was him peering into the stand was not what it was. He was praying. Yes it sounds odd to see a man praying at a newsstand; but take a minute and look out into the world. We all need prayer. And if you do not believe; start with Psalm 46.

God loves you. Just ask him.

God is our refuge and strength,
always ready to help in times of trouble.
So we will not fear when earthquakes come
and the mountains crumble into the sea.
Let the oceans roar and foam.
Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge!
A river brings joy to the city of our God,
the sacred home of the Most High.
God dwells in that city; it cannot be destroyed.
From the very break of day, God will protect it.
The nations are in chaos,
and their kingdoms crumble!
God’s voice thunders,
and the earth melts!
The Lord of Heaven’s Armies is here among us;
the God of Israel is our fortress.

Psalm 46: 1-7

The Woman Who Fears the Lord

An excellent wife who can find?
She is far more precious than jewels.
The heart of her husband trusts in her,
and he will have no lack of gain.
She does him good, and not harm,
all the days of her life.
She seeks wool and flax,
and works with willing hands.
She is like the ships of the merchant;
she brings her food from afar.
She rises while it is yet night
and provides food for her household
and portions for her maidens.
She considers a field and buys it;
with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
She dresses herself[e] with strength
and makes her arms strong.
She perceives that her merchandise is profitable.
Her lamp does not go out at night.
She puts her hands to the distaff,
and her hands hold the spindle.
She opens her hand to the poor
and reaches out her hands to the needy.
She is not afraid of snow for her household,
for all her household are clothed in scarlet.[f]
She makes bed coverings for herself;
her clothing is fine linen and purple.
Her husband is known in the gates
when he sits among the elders of the land.
She makes linen garments and sells them;
she delivers sashes to the merchant.
Strength and dignity are her clothing,
and she laughs at the time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom,
and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
She looks well to the ways of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
“Many women have done excellently,
but you surpass them all.”
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
Give her of the fruit of her hands,
and let her works praise her in the gates.

When is it suppose to happen?

Have you asked yourself, GOD when can I be happy? I know you all have probably came up with that question at sometime in your life. We tend to ask the man upstairs what is going on or what is up with this journey you have me on?

I am just here to tell you that it is not over. God, had moses lead his people out of egypt into the promise land. Although these people became free of the last king, they truly did not understand the blessings that has been restored to them. They began to worship other gods and started fronicking amongs each other. Because of their humanly selfish ways, god then led them thru the wilderness for decades before they settle in a new land. I am sure you all have heard the store.

My point is “If GOD gave you what you needed now, would you treasure it and understand the real value of that gift?”

Many of us may have that special need or resolution right in from of us but not see it for the clouds of issues and worldly problems that are blocking the way. Its ok though, GOD just like the Israelites, just may have to take you on a journey for 23 years just to bring you back to something that is familiar to you. So just a word of thought. Keep the faith and always look for GOD in all situation. The answers you need are always with him and may be right in front of you. At the right time his angels will bless you with your needs.

Job 5:17

“Blessed is the one whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty.

Stress of the Heart

The heart is such a fickle little thing. It just can’t seem to make up its mind. One moment, it is content and calm. The next its, jumps from its happy place and lands on a square of stress. Is there a remedy for this? Or am I destined to live in this world of emotions that threatens to undermine my peace?

At times when we are certain our hearts can’t take any more, we need to surrender them to God. He is our Strength. Our Shield. We can trust in Him. And trust means relying on and confidently leaning on Him to find our help.

Psalm 28:7

“The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him”
