Accidents can happen in the blink of an eye.

Accidents can happen in the blink of an eye.  Tragedy does not discriminate.  Around this time of the year is the worst time to have things happen to any family.  It’s the christmas after that takes the hurt of  re-living  what used to be the happiest of times and turns them into the worst.  In,  Deuteronomy 19:5-6- GOD give us an example of an accident and the outcome.

“For instance, a man may go into the forest with his neighbor to cut wood, and as he swings his ax to fell a tree, the head may fly off and hit his neighbor and kill him. That man may flee to one of these cities and save his life.  Otherwise, the avenger of blood might pursue him in a rage, overtake him if the distance is too great, and kill him even though he is not deserving of death, since he did it to his neighbor without malice forethought.”

Have you had circumstances happen that weren’t what you planned for Christmas? Have you seen God working through the hardships? Ask Him to show you how He will use it for good.

Let’s be on the lookout during this holiday season to see the Lord at work. His Word promises in Psalm 77:14 that God performs miracles and shows His power. How is He doing those things in your life today?
michelangelo-finger-of-god-lgDear Lord, open my eyes to what You are doing in the middle of circumstances that are outside of my plans. Help me to keep my eyes on You and Your power over all things. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Romans 8:28, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
